Resolving Service Pay Discrepancies

Missing Payout

If you finish a service on or after Tuesday, you'll receive payment for that service in the next pay cycle

For missing Instant Pay payouts, see "Stripe: Instant Pay Troubleshooting."

If you haven't been paid for a completed service by the next pay cycle or the payment seems incorrect, you can submit a Payment Discrepancy form.

Missing Tip

There are two types of tips:

  • Pre-set tips: processes within 24- hours of the service completion
  • Post service tips: processes within 24- hours from *when and if, a Pet Parent submits a tip

*Pet Parents can choose to tip their Caregiver after each service. Tips are optional and can also be added through their "Past Services."

The day you receive a tip payout may vary based on when and how a Pet Parent applies the tip, banking institutions, and/or banking holidays. If the tip is applied on or after Tuesday, it’s likely you'll receive payment for that tip in the next pay cycle.

If you believe an Instant Pay tip is missing, see "Stripe: Instant Pay Troubleshooting."

If you show a tip has been issued but haven't been paid for it by the following pay cycle, or if a tip seems incorrect, you can submit a Payment Discrepancy form

Pet Count Not Accurate

If possible, it's important to confirm the number of pets with a Pet Parent prior to starting the service. If there are changes to the pet count and you agree to provide service for the additional pets, you can follow-up with Wag! to update the pet count by filling out a Payment Discrepancy form

If the additional pet adjustment is made after Tuesday, you'll likely receive payment in the next pay cycle or through Instant Pay (when available).

Payment Discrepancy Form

Wag! manually reviews all payment discrepancy submissions. Please allow 5-7 business days for processing.

Approved adjustments will be automatically applied to your account. If the adjustment is made on or after Tuesday, you'll likely receive payment in the next pay cycle or as soon as Instant Pay becomes available.
