We’re here to help you understand the service fees and surcharges associated with booking pet care services, so that you can make informed decisions when arranging care for your pets. All fees and surcharges will be provided in an in-app price breakdown during the booking process.

  

# Understanding Your Price Breakdown

  

The final stage of the booking process confirms your service request, pets included, and pricing. There, you can see the full price breakdown.

_**Please Note:** Service pricing and additional pet care fees are subject to change based on individual Pet Caregiver rates._

  

## Booking Fees

Booking fees depend on the service type: Walks and Drop-Ins typically have a $2.99 booking fee, whereas Sitting and Boarding services start at $14.99 per booking. Requesting a Sitting or Boarding service within three hours of the service start time incurs a higher fee of $29.99.

When you subscribe to a Wag! Premium membership you save—booking fees are waived and you get a discount on every service you book! Find out more about Wag! ## Other Applicable Fees

There may be additional fees for multiple pets, bookings during holidays, special events, or late nights. These fees will vary and be shown in the Wag! app breakdown of service charges before you confirm your booking.

### State Taxes

Depending on your location, state taxes may apply and will be included in the cost breakdown before you confirm your booking.

_**Please Note:** Taxes will be listed at checkout as a “Regulatory Cost Recovery Charge” and the estimated cost varies based on Pet Caregiver pricing and whom you ultimately book with._

### Boarding Pick-Up & Drop-Off Fee

This is an elective option only available for Boarding services, if you prefer for your Pet Caregiver to pick-up and drop-off your pet(s) for the service start and end. A one-time flat-rate fee of $30 applies for Boarding services with pick-up and drop-off included. 

You must request this option prior to confirming the Pet Caregiver for the service, when booking the service request. This is to ensure that Pet Caregivers reviewing your request can determine if they can accommodate the transportation of your pet(s); not all Pet Caregivers have vehicles and/or may not be comfortable transporting pets.

### Overnight Meet & Greet

####   

This is an elective option available for Sitting and Boarding services, to arrange a meet and greet with your Pet Caregiver before the service begins; this is a great option to get better aquatinted with your Pet Caregiver in-person. 

A one-time fee of $10 applies for Sitting and Boarding services with a meet and greet requested. This option needs to be requested when you're booking the service request, to ensure that Pet Caregivers reviewing your request can anticipate to set up a time to meet with you.

If you're satisfied with your Pet Caregiver's services, you may choose to give them a tip. This is optional but greatly appreciated!
