Once your service is completed and you’ve viewed your [**Report Card**](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/service-report-card-S1rkYA7A), you're asked to rate and review your Pet Caregiver. Doing so ensures Pet Parents can make informed choices about their pets' care.

####

# Star Rating

####

Rate your Pet Caregiver between 1-5 stars, with one being a poor service experience and 5 being excellent. Star ratings are visible on the Pet Caregiver’s profile for their past completed services.

It is important to provide an accurate rating as it reflects your experience and helps other Pet Parents when selecting a Caregiver.

####

## What if I had a poor experience with a Caregiver?

####

We understand that sometimes a service may not meet your expectations. If your experience fell short and you rate it 3 stars or less, please provide the Caregiver with specific feedback on how they can improve their service. Your constructive feedback is invaluable, and selecting a reason for your rating gives important context to the issues you faced.

If you encounter any [**issues with your service**](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/what-do-i-do-if-i-have-an-issue-with-my-service-incident-resolution-guidelines-pp-BkT_mHzVc), we encourage you to [**reach out directly to the Pet Caregiver**](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/how-do-i-contact-a-pet-caregiver-pp-H1gMIq7E5) to discuss the matter. Open communication often leads to quick resolutions and fosters better understanding on both sides.

However, if you feel that the Caregiver is not the right fit for your needs and decide not to follow up with them, you can block the Caregiver from seeing your future service requests. Keep in mind that blocking a Caregiver also closes any active chats you have with them.

# Review

####

For ratings of 4 stars or higher, your review is a firsthand reflection of your experience with a Pet Caregiver. Reviews are visible to other Pet Parents on a Pet Caregiver’s profile, aiding them in making informed decisions about their pet care options.

_As a reminder, all users of the Wag! Platform agree to abide by the_ [_**Wag! Community Guidelines**_](https://safety.wagwalking.com/community-guidelines) _and maintain respectful interactions._

# Achievement Badges

####

When you give a rating of 4 stars or higher, you can issue your Caregiver Achievement Badges. These badges are fun and highlight how your Pet Caregiver has excelled in their service. Issuing badges is completely optional, and it’s up to you to decide if any are warranted.

Achievement Badges are subject to change, but available badges include:

*   Above and Beyond
*   Excellent Report Card
*   Extra Caring
*   Follows Instructions
*   Great Distance
*   Strong Walker
*   Ultimutt Endorsement

# Add Tip

####

For ratings of 4 stars or higher, you can [**issue a tip**](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/how-do-i-tip-my-pet-caregiver-pp-Syj59wqz9) or provide an extra tip if you really appreciate the service your Pet Caregiver provided. Tipping is always optional, but it is greatly appreciated and serves as a wonderful way to recognize and reward exceptional care.
