# In-App Tools: During the Service

Once the service has begun, there are easy in-app tools you can use to share updates or photos and videos, and to notate play time, feedings, and walks.

Chatting with the Pet Parent is just two clicks away! Tap the “...” button to expand an additional menu of live service tools, then tap the green speech bubble to open the chat. Many Pet Parents appreciate regular updates and check-ins on how their pet is doing while they are away.

To add updates to a Sitting or Boarding service from this view, open the live service and tap the orange "⨁" icon, which will expand options to take photos and video or notate feedings or play time. 

In addition to being able to provide the Pet Parent with fun updates from these live service tools, you’ll also be able to access the service notes (notepad), home access (key), chat (speech bubble), and emergency service options (bell).
