Getting paid for your pet care services is easy to do using the Wag! Pet Caregivers app to access and manage your Stripe account. [**Stripe**](http://stripe.com) is a third party payment processor to facilitate payments for the pet care services Caregivers perform and complete using the Wag! Platform. Using Stripe ensures secure and convenient transactions for both Pet Parents and Caregivers. Stripe provides a seamless payment experience, giving you control over your payment preferences and allowing you to manage when and how you receive your earnings.

  

# Setting Up Your Stripe Account

  

**1\. Download the Wag! Pet Caregivers app & login:**

*   After you’ve been approved to the Wag! Platform, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to download the Wag! Pet Caregivers app. Once downloaded, log in with your credentials.

**2\. Set up a Stripe Express Account:**

*   The Wag! Pet Caregivers app prompts you to set up your Stripe Express account when you log in for the first time.
*   Follow the prompts to initiate the Stripe setup process.
    *   _**Please Note:** If you already have a Stripe account, you'll need to create a new one for Wag!._

**3\. Verify your email & phone number:**

*   The Stripe account setup process requires you to verify the email address and phone number associated with your Wag! account.
*   Verifying the email and phone number strengthens your Stripe account's security and sets up accurate communication channels.

**4\. Fill out your banking info to receive earnings:**

*   Once your email and phone number are verified, **[fill out your banking information](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/stripe-adding-or-updating-a-bank-account-Sy6GzKmR)** within the Stripe setup.
*   Providing accurate banking details ensures that your earnings are deposited directly into your designated bank account.

  

# Pay Cycle

  

Pet Caregiver payouts are _processed every Wednesday and paid out every Friday_. The pay cycle is Tuesday through Monday, so for _all services completed on or after Tuesday, the payment will appear in the following pay cycle_.

## When is the standard weekly payout?

The standard weekly payout is every Friday and is issued through Stripe to either a [**bank account**](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/stripe-adding-or-updating-a-bank-account-Sy6GzKmR) or [**debit card**.](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/stripe-adding-or-updating-a-debit-card-H1AfOjfQR) There is no fee associated with standard weekly payouts.

## Can I get my pay sooner?

If you are eligible for [**Instant Pay**,](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/stripe-instant-pay-SkuxUaG7C) you may be able to get your payout sooner than the standard weekly payout, for an additional fee.

  

# How You're Paid

  

Service payments, or payouts, can be issued to a [**bank account**](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/stripe-adding-or-updating-a-bank-account-Sy6GzKmR) or an eligible [**debit card**](https://support.wagwalking.com/en_us/stripe-adding-or-updating-a-debit-card-H1AfOjfQR) depending on your preference.

# Stripe Troubleshooting

  

Once your Stripe account is created, if you encounter any issues managing or updating your personal information within the Stripe dashboard via the Wag! Pet Caregiver app, you can also access your Stripe account through a web browser:

*   Navigate to the [**Stripe Express Login webpage**](https://connect.stripe.com/express_login).
*   Use the email address associated with your Wag! app to sign in and access your Stripe account.
