Editing Your Wag! Pet Caregiver Account

To update your contact information from within the Wag! Pet Caregivers app, follow the steps below:
iOS
1. Tap "Account" on the bottom nav bar
2. Tap on "My Contact Info"
3. Tap on the information to edit
4. Tap "Save" to update
Android
1. Navigate to the top left menu
2. Tap "My profile"
3. Scroll down to "Contact info"
4. Tap "Edit" next to the information to edit
5. Tap "Save" to update
Updating Your Profile
From the Wag! Pet Caregivers app, you can update your profile by following the steps below:
1. Navigate to the top left menu (Android) or tap "Account" on the bottom nav bar (iOS)
2. Tap on "My Profile"
3. Tap the "Edit" button for each section of information to edit
4. Tap "Save" to update
From your profile, you can update the following:
- Profile photo
- Catchphrase
- Availability
- About me
- Services you provide
- Service rates
- Images in your Gallery
- Information about your home, for those offering Boarding services
- Your pet care experience and specialties
Remember to tap "Save" when you're finished to publish your updates! And if you’re accessing this page on your mobile device, you can tap here to open your Wag! app profile.
How can I update my address?
To change your address in the Wag! Pet Caregivers app, follow these steps:
iOS
1. Tap "Account" on the bottom nav bar
2. Tap on "My Profile"
3. Tap "Edit about me"
4. Tap on "My location"
5. Tap on the text box and clear the current address listed
6. Type in your new address
7. Select from the drop-down options available to select your address
8. Tap "Save" to update
Android
1. Navigate to the top left menu
2. Tap "My Profile"
3. Locate "Contact info" and tap "Edit" next to your address
4. Tap on the text box and clear the current address listed
5. Type in your new address
6. Select from the drop-down options available to select your address
7. Tap "Save" to update
Please note, if your updated address does not immediately reflect on your profile, you may need to close out of the app and reopen it to refresh.
What if my address isn't listed in the drop-down?
If your address isn't appearing as an exact match in the address field drop-down options, you can easily update it by following these steps:
1. Visit the website: "Improve This Map"
2. Tap on the blue "+Contribute" button
3. Select "Address"
4. Enter your address to be added
- To be notified, check the box: “Notify me when my issue has been resolved.”
5. Tap on "Submit"
After submitting your address, please allow at least 24 hours for processing.
Once your address has been updated on the Mapbox website, return to your Wag! Pet Caregivers app to complete the in-app steps to update your address.
How do I update my time zone?
Your time zone will automatically update when you change your address and most time zone issues can be resolved by updating your address in-app.
How do I edit the images in my Gallery?
To add images to your public profile gallery, will depend on your mobile device. Please refer to the below instructions per your phone operating system:
iOS
1. Tap "Account" on the bottom nav bar
2. Tap "My profile"
3. Tap "Edit about me"
4. Tap "Edit photo gallery"
5. Tap “+Add photos”
6. Tap to select from either:
- Choose from photo library
- Tap "Choose" to confirm your selection
- Take a photo
- Tap "Use Photo" to use the photo taken
iOS users will also be able to add photos to their profile Gallery from their Media Gallery, by tapping on a photo and tapping "+Add to profile."
Android
1. Navigate to the top left menu
2. Tap "My profile"
3. Scroll down to “Gallery,” then tap “Edit”
4. Tap the camera icon
5. Tap to select from either:
- Take Photo
- Tap "OK" to confirm to use the photo taken
- Choose Existing Photo
- Tap on the photo to upload
How do I reorder images in my gallery?
iOS: Delete the photos and re-upload them in the order you’d like them to appear on your profile.
Android: Tap and hold the image you’d like to move, then drag it to your preferred location.
How do I delete images from my gallery?
To delete photos from your gallery within the Wag! Pet Caregivers app, please follow the steps below:
iOS
1. Tap "Account" on the bottom nav bar
2. Tap "My profile"
3. Scroll down to “Gallery,” then tap “Edit”
4. A list of your photos will appear — tap “Edit” again in the top right corner
5. Tap the trashcan icon on each image(s) you’d like to delete
6. Tap “Delete” at the bottom of the screen
Android
1. Navigate to the top left menu
2. Tap "My profile"
3. Scroll down to “Gallery,” then tap “Edit”
4. Tap the image(s) you’d like to delete
5. Tap “Delete” at the bottom of the screen
6. Tap “Yes, delete” in the prompt that appears
Name Change Request
To request a name change, please fill out the Name Change Request form. You will receive a confirmation email once we've received your request. Please allow up to 3 business days for your request to be fully processed.
